Motherhood Magic

Who is Motherhood Magic?

I'm a mother who has several interests and always likes to be on the go. I was born and raised in Southern California, which means I had access to many great things. We've got beaches, parks, museums, amusement parks, and oh so much more.
I grew up with a mother who liked to take my sister and I places, who taught us to be artistic, and encouraged me to explore in the kitchen. I was always fascinated in the kitchen with creating yummy desserts and trying my hand at dinner. My sister never had the urge to get in there, so I always had the kitchen to myself. When I was really young my mother would help me bake cookies and cakes, and as I got older I started claiming certain nights to cook dinner. I remember to this day receiving a children's cookbook for Christmas, and making several meals out of it.  It's one of the few presents that I really remember loving. Not all the fancy toys, but a simple little cookbook. That cookbook in a way, has made me who I am today.
I'm still domestic, have a passion for baking cupcakes (as a hobby) and other goodies, going out trying new things, stopping by our local zoos and botanical gardens, and visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland.

I've been a Disneyland passholder for over 18 years.
I have fond memories of my mother taking my sister and I after school, and waiting on the curb to watch parades like The Lion King, Hercules, and Mulan. We had this deal, if we did our homework while waiting for the parade, then we would get a treat in the bakery and go on rides after. Something so simple like that, really created a magical moment for us.

Now I'm in my thirties have my own little family, and I'm trying to create new magical moments with my son. I've created this blog as a way to share things that I love to do, tips I may have, and places that any parent must visit with their children in Southern California. Most of all this will be a site with plenty of Disney to share.

Follow me as I create magical moments everyday.
